The Office of Apprenticeship (OA) will share Registered Apprenticeship Expansion Resiliency Planning resources that were designed to help states create and maintain registered apprenticeship expansion strategies during economic downturns.
Description
This webinar will provide participants with Registered Apprenticeship Expansion Resiliency Planning documents as a resource for creating and maintaining strategies for continued growth of registered apprenticeship programs, diversification of industries and apprentices, and implementation of strong statewide approaches to support various registered apprenticeship stakeholders. Subject-matter experts will review these resources and discuss promising resiliency practices pertaining to registered apprenticeship expansion. Presenters will review 5 elements of resiliency and a checklist of questions to consider when developing strategies in an economic downturn. States will also have the opportunity to discuss promising practices.
